This paper wants to present partial results of primary school performance of students that enter in Educational Project of Young and Adults (PROEJA) modality of high school and its relation with gender. This project has been developed by the Program of Support of Productivity in Research from Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Goiás by Pro-rectory of Research and Graduation, Department of Research and Innovation. PROEJA modality has the goal of include students to graduate them professionally and, because of this goal, to promote their admission in labor market and to qualify the students that were excluded from formal and professional education. This paper takes as object of study students of PROEJA – Buildings technician of Federal Institute of Goiás – Jataà campus, night shift from 1º and 2º periods. The paper wants to describe perspective from the students about the teaching proposed with labor market and formal education integration.Thus presenting a group profile that will suit a sample to solve questions in this context. Therefore the research started in 2012, passing through several steps, from bibliographic revision and data collection then organizing them with qualitative and quantitative values of the research, providing a diagnostic to improve the educational project.
