We intend to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of portuguese author Luísa Ducla Soares' literary work of potential reception for children, revisiting titles as important as: O soldado João (1973), Gente Gira (2002), Tudo ao contrário (2002) e Seis histórias às avessas (2003), within the scope of recognition and respect for Difference as a value that underlies them. This writer integrates the textual corpus of recommended and mandatory reading of Literary Education in the 1st and 2nd Cycles of Basic Education and is referenced in the National Reading Plan. In addition, she is also an author that we worked on in the curricular unit of children and youth's literature, which integrates the curriculum of the degree in Basic Education and in Literature for Children, curricular unit of the 1st year of the master's degree of Basic Education courses. Based on the above and on a review and textual analysis of this author's work, we believe that her literature of potential reception for children and youth promotes an inclusive and multicultural education, which must be known and worked on in a school context.Downloads
