DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Abstract


This article aims to demonstrate the development of the motor skills of a student of Infant Education from the use of digital technologies such as the computer, laptops, programs and online games, as a pedagogical proposal. For that, a bibliographic review was carried out on the subject and a case study, which had as subject of the research a student regularly enrolled and frequent in Stage I of a Municipal School of Early Childhood Education (Pre-school) of the Extreme Northwest Paulista. The student's development process was observed over a period of two years, that is, until the end of Stage II. As a result, it was observed that the use of these technologies integrated to the pedagogical activities not only aided in the development of the student's motor coordination, laterality and movements, but also in their cognitive development, improving creativity, attention, logical reasoning and perception of the student.
