There is increasing demand for project management knowledge and experience as well as non-trivial ways of teaching those who are not experienced in this field. Teaching this subject must provide solid theory basis, especially in PMBoK good practices and processes, as well as the capacity of properly executing tools and techniques defined in this document. One of the processes that students in undergraduation and graduation courses find more difficult is the elaboration of the WBS. This work is aimed at assessing such difficulties, proposing mechanisms to reduce them and increasing the quality of this artifact produced by students. Results have shown that students in general have problems in representing the total scope of the project and also in decomposing deliverables until the appropriate level.Downloads
