PORTAL DE PERIÓDICOS DA CAPES: A IMPORTâNCIA DA INVESTIGAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA NA INICIAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA

Resumo

Este artigo é resultado do estudo de caso realizado em 2011 com o propósito de analisar o acesso dos alunos contemplados pelos Programas de Iniciação Científica do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Goiás (IFG), ao Portal de Periódicos da CAPES em suas investigações científicas. Outro objetivo desse estudo foi averiguar a influência do acesso à informação científica na formação acadêmica. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio de análise documental relativos aos processos de seleção dos projetos de iniciação científica do IFG desde o primeiro ano de criação, em 2006, até os dias atuais. Para coleta de dados aplicou-se um questionário quali-quantitativo a 39 estudantes que participaram dos programas de iniciação científica do IFG.
