O trabalho Corte/Mato/Mata surgiu a partir de descompromissadas caminhadas pelas aleias do Jardim Botânico do Rio de Janeiro Nesta vivência, sucessivas impregnações foram gradativamente ocorrendo e o contato com o cotidiano do lugar me permitiu acompanhar desde pequenas podas até o corte de uma enorme Árvore de Contas. Fragmentos de troncos foram recolhidos e cortados novamente com o intuito de enfatizar a ação humana e o rastro da máquina pela madeira. Em momentos, o grafite cobre determinadas faces de alguns dos tocos de modo a enfatizar o desenho produzido pela ação da motosserra no corte da madeira. Corte/Mato/Mata ocupa o espaço horizontal do chão e dialoga com a série de desenhos Aleia que remetem à verticalidade das Palmeiras Imperiais.Downloads
