Abstract

Termodielétrico é um longa-metragem em fase de desenvolvimento, que trata da sintonia entre o meu modo de ver o mundo e o de um avô que não conheci, Joaquim da Costa Ribeiro, um dos pais da física experimental no Brasil ao descobrir o Fenômeno Termodielétrico, em 1944. Depois da morte de meu pai, comecei a pesquisar o arquivo de meu avô, que se encontra no Museu de Astronomia do Rio de Janeiro, e que contém mais de 800 documentos. Mas o que encontrei ali foram mais do que investigações científicas. O que encontrei foi uma curiosidade sem fim, de alguém que se pergunta sobre todas as coisas que nos rodeiam, sem hierarquia. Uma forma poética de ver o mundo.

    Artista, cineasta, poeta e professora. Doutora em Arte e Cultura Contemporânea pela UERJ, Master of Fine Arts em Cinema pela San Francisco State University e bacharel em Comunicação Social pela UFRJ.
