Abstract

The objective of this article was to verify the influences of emotional regulation, resilience, self-esteem, performance in informatics in the self-efficacy of higher education in times of the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey included 161 university professors, from a higher education institution based in Mossoró, who returned the answered Likert questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and equations were used for data analysis. As results were confirmed as hypotheses, in this case emotional regulation influences resilience, which is related to self-esteem, which is positively correlated with the teacher's self-efficacy. It was also confirmed that computer skills help to increase self-efficacy. The contributions of this study are in the investigation of the teaching and learning process in pandemic times of COVID-19 and the confidence of teachers in carrying out their tasks in a new environment for the classroom, through the use of digital platforms.
