Abstract

The human body should be presented at elementary education in a playful mode and with interactivity resources to attract the attention of the child and to promote learning. Knowing the human body game aims providing in a dynamic and interactive manner the understanding of the constituents of the organism in relation to its position and its function. The game was created with Adobe Captivate, Illustrator and After Effects softwares. It approaches the systems of the body, by positioning the organs by dragging with the mouse to the body of a girl and a boy. The design of the characters was inspired by the traits of “mangá”, while the action of the activity was based on children's games about clothing and accessories. It was published in Museu virtual do corpo humano (…). Its applicability was tested with students in the 5th year of state school. A group played the educational game, and other group watched lecture. The questionnaires showed similarity in the answers between the two groups. It is known that the combination of visual and sound stimuli contributes to learning, and educational games, by using these elements, improve the cognitive process. By the presence in the game of these stimuli and interactivity resources, such as the activity of dragging the organ to the body, it is expected that the game contributes to motivate the teaching and sedimentation of the subject.
