TEMPO DE USO DE SMARTPHONE E FATORES ASSOCIADOS À SAÚDE UNIVERSITÁRIA PÓS-DISCANTAMENTO SOCIAL NA PANDEMIA DE COVID-19

Objetivou-se avaliar o uso do smartphone e os fatores associados à saúde de universitários pós-distanciamento social na pandemia da COVID-19. Foi realizado um estudo transversal realizado entre setembro e dezembro de 2022. Participaram 358 universitários adultos (> 18 anos) dos cursos de tecnologia e saúde de duas universidades em Fortaleza, Ceará. Aplicaram-se os questionários Smartphone Addiction Inventory (SPAI-BR); Self-Report Questionnaire (SRQ-20); Questionário Nórdico de Sintomas Musculoesqueléticos; Questionário International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) e Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI-BR). Os dados foram analisados pelo SPSS Statistic. Os universitários utilizavam o smartphone em média 6,6 ± 3,1 horas/dia. Identificou-se elevada prevalência de dependência do smartphone (n=250; 69,8%), dor no pescoço (n=247; 69,0%), suspeita de transtorno mental comum (n=193; 53,9%) e qualidade do sono ruim (n=249; 69,6%). Os universitários que assistiam aulas (p=0,002), com dependência do smartphone (p=0,014) e dor em quadril (p=0,017) e joelho (p=0,006) usavam mais o smartphone. Evidenciou-se elevado tempo de uso do smartphone pelos universitários, associado a dependência deste dispositivo e dor musculoesquelética. Portanto, alertar-se a necessidade de monitorar o tempo de uso e adotar medidas que previnam possíveis efeitos deletérios a saúde física e mental.Referências
