This paper investigates the problem of violence among young people in the light of thought of Theodor Adorno, who work in education and emancipation takes the view that the attempt to overcome the barbarism is crucial for human survival. Education is able to help guide and transform our children and young people emancipated individuals? How far the power of knowledge and enlightenment? Adorno seeks to answer these questions, taking a critical view of the role of education and culture in the formation of an emancipated society. For this thinker, only through freedom and its full political and social engagement, the man would be able to build an egalitarian society, overcoming the alienation and social void. In its education project, Adorno points to the importance of protecting without stifling individual capacity of each human being, looking for a means to educate for the formation of groups is a positive thing and not a breeding ground of violence and barbarism. Thus, the objective education to alert people to the fight against barbarism, so that they realize the negative character of this reality and try to put it out.Downloads
