Poetry occupying space and time. The theater scene taking bodies to experience the places they occupy through the journey through the poetic and interpretation time. This work is a cut inside my poetic theatrical research within the school, with high school students. The theme of the meeting was given by poems that spoke of places: the “Tejo†River in the poetry of Fernando Pessoa, Athens in the music of Chico Buarque, New York in the poem "Aurora em New York" Frederico Garcia Lorca. Starting from the reading of poetic texts, it was proposed an improvisation on each of them. The students were challenged to read and to put their vocal interpretation and body into the scene. How would the female body be by the Tejo river and by the river of his "own village"? What are the implications of a body that sees a big city with a look of a woman who awakens in suburban Aurora? And how the body of the women of Athens contemplated the empty waiting for their warriors? After the interpretive and individual improvisation reading, it was proposed a meeting of these women and their dilemmas. The lone bodies were sympathized with these spaces; the transformation before emotions and personalities of each character, a poetry that goes beyond time, continents; cities and countryside; dreams and revolts; words and silences. The work with the students sparked a reflection about the female body in each space presented by poetry and feelings that transcend eras. The meetings that generate transformations between humans. Another highlight was the different love in every poetic character. My research seeks to bring poetry to high school by creating and theatrical interpretation, an awakening of the view of literature and its characters that are not just words in a textbook and prepare for assessments. Poetry presents a body in every scene, every character and these can be decent or indecent according to the proposal, the time and your space. The poet who experiences or imagine bodies in action brings verses in the meeting of lives of other spaces and times in dialogue with bodies that are present in school and in life in today's time.References
