The aim of this study was to characterize, as a tool for teaching management, the negative self-assessment of the environment conditions and learning characteristics at the university, by university students, according to their qualification (undergraduate and bachelor's degrees) between three years. For this purpose, the Environmental Conditions and Learning Characteristics at the University (ECLCU) Scale was used, which integrates the Health Indicators and Quality of Life in Academics questionnaire (ISAQ-A). Participated 1,084, 1,085 and 1,041 university students in 2010, 2012 and 2014 surveys, respectively. University students in bachelor's degree courses showed a linear increase in the relative frequencies of negative self-assessment of the structural conditions of classrooms and were more likely to assess their level of knowledge before entering higher education in an inadequate condition. Concluded that the ECLCU Scale represents an important strategy for the management of higher education in Brazil.Downloads
