Abstract

This article aims to describe the linguistic and conceptual analysis of the discursive content about the moon and its phases presented in the collections Door Open: Learning sciences and sciences ever, both designed for students from 2nd to 5th grade. It was found through theoretical study and document analysis, a quantitative-qualitative approach, which both fall short in presenting the concept of the moon and its phases. They specify the phases of the moon so wrong and use a language with inadequacies and ambiguities. The results point to the use of these collections tuned, requiring a solid training teachers to realize that the gaps and how to solve them properly. Keywords: Moon and its phases. Conceptual errors.
